The Urban Entomological Society (UES)  was formed to unite and support students with an interest in Urban Entomology.

UES consists of undergraduate and graduate students majoring in all areas including Urban Pest Management.

UES is active in:

• Outreach programs in local schools using insects as teaching tools.

• Constructing insect teaching collections for the pest control industry.

• Competitive student research presentations in the Entomology and Nematology Department.

• Exhibiting UF/IFAS programs at industry trade shows.

• Facilitating the distribution of UF/IFAS publications and software.

• Sponsoring social events which allow industry representatives to interact with Urban Pest Management students.
